you a simple, affordable way to do just that.

With it, you can convert video from a

Component or VGA source into an HDTV cable

channel, extending that channel over standard

coax RF wiring in your building.

As a combination MPEG 2 encoder and

frequency-agile QAM modulator, it encodes

video and audio then modulates signals for

single-channel RF transmission, creating a

well-formed 6-MHz QAM 256 channel for the

50 – 900-MHz modulation range (Channels

2 – 135) of a digital cable system. You use the

QAM tuner in a display to decode the signals.

Ideal for digital signage.

It’s an economical alternative to installing a

digital signage player at every display when the

messaging is the same on every display. You can

use a single player to feed content over existing

coax to an unlimited number of on-premises

HDTVs. MediaCento RF essentially enables you

to distribute HD content for $0 per display! And

that’s not counting the money saved by not

having to install new wiring and wallplates.

NOTE: VGA resolutions are broadcast centered

in the best vertical fit into 1920 x 1080 or

1280 x 720 (AVX-VGA-RF) or 1280 x 720

(AVX-VGA-RF44) at 60 frames per second.

Choose from two models.

The 1080i version supports VGA input up to

1920 x 1080 and Component video input up to

1080i, and has dual analog audio jacks. Plus, it

enables configuration via a PC’s USB connection

and an RS-232 console (which also can be used

for channel switching). In addition, this model

supports broadcasting two HD channels in

different languages.

For light commercial use, order the low-priced

720p version. It supports VGA input up to 1680

x 1050 and Component input up to 720p. It can

be configured from the front panel or a USB PC

connection. This model accepts digital audio only

(via a digital RCA audio, TOSLINK

, or Windows

PC USB link).
